The 70 series cases were a good tractor. If you use the powershift trans like it is supposed to be used it will last forever. If you mistreat it you may have problems. These case tractors are like any other. You have to take care of them and use them like they are meant to be used. I wouldn't be afraid of it if it has been treated right.
