My favorite is to find a sturdy railing and lean backwards over it stretching out my back. Nice to have something close to catch your balance if necessary.
Been thinking about an inversion machine though but I don't have much pain but just occasionally feel compressed from sitting which is why bending over backwards helps. Tried one once but the ankle cuffs kinda hurt my ankles.
