A good friend of mine has an inversion table and he swears by it. When the body is hung upside down, or nearly there, the vertibrae pull apart just a little, so it takes the pressure off the pinched nerves. He said you don't want to hang there for too long or you'll get plenty dizzy, but it does do the job for him.
By the way he sounds he uses it as needed,not on a regular schedule, but maybe a doctor or chiro. could help you with that. Good luck from a fellow back sufferer.Jim
