I also live in TVA"s power area. They did say the drought was partly to blame but I live close to one of their dams and looks like there"s plenty of water flowing down the river. They say the largest cost was the big increase in coal cost. Discussing this with coworkers the other day some says were selling a lot of coal to China. I think TVA should bring more nuclear power online and use less coal. Along with the 20% increase in electric rates, gasoline $3.50+,groceries up 20% to 30%and our insurance board just added a $25.00 increase in insurance premiums for fat employees. Something gotta give.
