My son is on a ship in Jacksonville. He just wrote me at 4am, said it was raining so hard it looked like snow.
Their ship was in the repair yard and couldn't leave. All the other ships in the base left ahead of the storm.
My sons ship broke a mooring rope yesterday due to the storm surge. There was only a 20 man duty section on watch. I guess they had a heck of a time getting another line back in place.
