New Idea model 49m. Bearing failed on one of the tooth bars. Had to remove bar from rake to replace bearing, and repair one on other end of bar. (Suprisingly NI dealer had a bearing in stock.) Now I can't get bar back in place on the rake. Like bar is 3/4 inch too long. No matter how I pry, pull, tug on star wheel, I can't get the bolt that mounts through the bearing to line up with hole in star wheel. I have put some awful stress on the system too, afraid I'm going to break something if I put any more stress on it. Have even dismounted star wheels from the frame at their bearings. Didn't help.
