I understand that 8N tractors built after 1951 have adjustable tappets but require special
tools which are left and right hand tappet holding wrenches, part nos. 8N17046A and 8N 17045A
respectively. Also a shortened, ground down tappet wrench is required. Does anyone know
where these tools can be purchased? Any substitutes available anywhere?
My Inoperative 8N is now operational but needs rings and probably a valve job. Thanks
