2 4 D alone isn't enough.Go to www.trimec.com.It's a combo of 2 4 D,MCPP,and dicamba.I used it on sod crops for years with excellent results.Another thing to remember is your killing the weed but not the seed.Some seeds can lay dorment for several years.We used to spray in the spring and then again in the fall growing season.Best time to spray in in the middle of the day when the photosynthesis of the plant is at its peak.We use 1 quart per 50 gallon and 90-110 gallon of water per acre.I don't know where your located,but in Illinois you can spray your own property without an ap licenes.Good Luck.
