In response to the question of my A-C Model B having a Waukasha motor, I do not know how to identify a Waukasha. The tractor serial # is 31577. There is no number on the flange near the air cleaner where the Operating Insruction Book shows that the engine number should be. A recheck of the serial number indicates my Model B to be a 1939 build. My C.H. Wendel "The A-C Story" book shows that the first 96 B's with Waukasha engines were built in 1937. Not knowing any of the history on this Model B, it is possible that the original engine may have been replaced, possibly even with a power unit engine
