Look like IH weights to me, especially with that peg on the back... fits into a hole drilled in the face of the weight bracket to keep them from sliding from side to side. My only advice on making a bracket would be to make sure you use thick enough steel... like 1/2" The pic is of one I had a local welding shop make for my 5000 row crop... 1/2" thick... might be overkill, but at least I know it won't bend!
