in our area, as long as u have no tresspass signs on all 4 sides of property, your not responsible for anything that happens to them on your property. so in the atv trail i put some fence posts bent over low in the grass so when they drove over the trail it would grab and hit there engine or axle and then i put chicken wire across to tangle in the wheels, good luck getting that off with no wire clipper.
you put 1 or 2 little traps and they will think there are more out there.
