Well it is true there where Jubilees made in 1952 but none are really called a 1952 tractor. So do you in fact have a Jubilee or is your tractor an 8N?? Either way the cylinder at the front of the engine is #1 or the one by the radiator. That is also true on 99% of all in line engines
