I need some help on a 38 Oliver 80 charging syst. The schematic I have has power going to the a-meter rite side(+ I guess),from load side(- I guess) to light sw. and to batt. term. of cut-out,- and from the light sw.to the gen. field,- and gen. A term. to the gen. term. on the cut-out. At start-up the meter pegs to the - side, and the cut-out points stick together even after the eng. is off. This is a pos. ground set up and has a new battery and cut-out,we have also polarized the gen. It was a mess when we got so I don"t know how long its been since it worked properly. The gen.appears to be o.k. and is not shorted. Something seems to be working backwards. any ideas? Jim
