Iam the parts and service manager at a dealership.The first thing that happens is after the unit is dropped off is that it gets looked at and a estimate created and the customer called.Then the tractor goes in line-first come serve,however by doing the pre-op process Ive contacted the customer-got approval for the work-they know approx what to expect and the parts are placed on order if not in stock.This takes place generally all within 4 hours after the equipment hits our lot Could some pieces run 2-3 weeks maybe(but the customer knows ahead of time how busy the shop is)But when its number is up its fixed and done It is sad that a dealer would let this happen to you.It really dont have to be that way
