Kent assume batt is 75 amp hour rating. With a one amp charger you need 75 hours or 3 days to charge it fully. Check specific gravity with hydrometer with float or colored balls after this period of time. If still low, return to sender. Remember that song? Was it new? If ever dead and frozen, probably shot. If charger is 3 amp then only charge 25 hours. Amp hour rating divided by charger size determines how long to plug it in. Batt sounds like #1 suspect to me.
