Thanks for the input Gary, Dave. I'm just trying to get my 12 acres into some kind of a crop rotation. Clover would have been nice , never thought of that.
I do have a grass seeder on my drill. this is a low budget operation i's gots a going on here if you know what i mean. LOL I have 6 acres of crops i use to get some feed for my pig n chickens. And ya know the wifes horses up to 2 now and a small one this spring.
Just looking for a little nitrogen. I got some left over beans from last year.
I've got a friend that has some rye if i want it . Maybe leaning towards rye.
