Hi. I have been thinking about purchasing a New Idea power unit and snowblower combo, but I can't seem to pick a starting price. I watched one sell on a sale a couple years ago for $1700 and sure wish I had that kind of cash on hand at the time.
What would you say such an arrangement is worth?
And for that matter--if I can get the various attachments for it for the basic farming practices (planting, spraying, cultivating, combining, picking, silage-chopping) I think that would be great too because I like the design and how you don't have to be working behind you all the time. But does anyone here have experience with these machines? What do you think of them? Would it be really hard to plant straight rows with a front-mounted, fixed planter?
As the latest generation in the family farming operation, I'm interested in looking in going a new direction but still keeping with the older equipment.
