Just when did the Supreme court do that? First I ever heard of that. Some of the increase in local taxes is the result of tax cuts on the federal level - revenue sharing with local governments has been reduced. Something to think about when somebody says he is gonna cut taxes and doesn't specify what is gonna get cut as a result. I know Ohio has been hit pretty hard with job losses.
