Has anyone ---EVER---changed their mind when they hear words of wisdom by the ----OTHER PARTY? If you are a DEM OR A REP your mind is already made up.

For the record I am a registerd Rep, but now I'm independent. I have never voted a straight ticket in my life----I hate both parties the same.

I read the tree hugger, bad media for one party, gona raise your taxes, and on and on and on

The other party say hey check out what has happened the last eight years!,do you want some more? Change rather than more of the same, and it goes on and on and on.

The only thing any politician has is to better their friendship with some business, or put down the other party. The American people is another choice of words that make you understand it is time to bend over, and take it like a good tax payer.

If this is what makes voters change their minds---well then I have no problem letting small children vote as well. Poly--ticks is probably not going to change in the near future. I try to vote for the person with ideas, ---NOT PUT DOWNs. Heck I can make so called easy to understand facts all day if my mind was made up for me by my grandparents--because they supported a certian party.

As a good rule of thumb, never vote in a person that is now holding a office ---change has to be good, or at least better. Those butttttt heads will never set term limits on their own, so vote them out if you can.

One line item veto is good, but I prefer one line item bills so the good ol boys can't add on numerous amendments so that they can cover up their voting record with--I had to vote yes in order to get that deals.

Maybe its like a friend of mine who has been divorced, and now engaged to another. I asked why the heck he wanted to even try again as the first one was a knock down / drag out almost every day. He stated very calmly that the day he got divorced was the happiest day of his life.

And that no way could he ever have such a happy day unless he got married again.

Today's Featured Article - The Day Mom Drove the 8N - by Brian Browning. My Dad was wanting to put in a garden but couldn't operate the 8N and handle the old horse drawn plow he had found and rigged up to use with the tractor. Well, he decided to go get Mom out of the house and have her drive the tractor while he walked behind the plow. You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o ... [Read Article]
