I'm thinking of installing one of those reznor waste oil heaters in my farm shop.My chimney is an 8in.x18ft.pipe with a 6in.flue pipe.The stove requires an 8in. pipe,but the heater seller says the 6in would be fine.I wonder why they use the larger flue pipes now? My old furnace has a 6in pipe and works fine on another chimney. 6in. used to be the standard.Will the heater work alright with the smaller flue pipe? Thanks.
