Grandad bought a new tractor years ago, I think it was a 6610, that would stop running going across a feild. Took line loose, no flow. Blew into it, started running fuel out. This happend a few times before it had 12 hours on it. Dealer came out, there was a marble in the tank. It would roll over the hole in the bottom of the tank and shut the fuel off.
Buddy bought a 4440 at auction real cheap. Story was it did not have much power. Put it to work on a baler. Sure nuff, would not pull the hat off your head. Took line off, no flow, could not blow into it. Took line off tank, nothing came out. Found some bale'n wire, stuck it up in the tank and ran it around. Pulled out an old t-shirt. He has ran it hard the last few years with out a problem.
