Ford pickups are by far the toughest truck ever built, but this is a tractor discussion page, so maybe we better not get into that. But Ford tractors? They were ok, but nothing special. I know guys who would rebuild them twice a year just so they could make a crop. Once during the summer cultivating, and again after the harvest was done. You would'nt have to do that with a John Deere, they would run for several years before needing a rebuild.
And today? Nothing holds its resale value like a Deere, and nothing is in the same class with them, barr none.
