Google"www.campbellsville chamber.com " and view thie site for some info. A Phone call will bring a lot of local info from a friendly Receptionist. A short drive will bring you to Columbia and Adair County. Same goes for Liberty and Casey County. Much History for the area and Sept 7,2007 at 8:32 AM is a Historical moment for me as I stood in the bedroom of the Old farm House at Merrimac Ky and paid Homage to the Moment in 1937 when I and my Mother experienced my birth. Merrimac is in Taylor Co. as is Campbellsville. The Farm is still in the Maternal Family and Hopefully it will always be.There are many events at the Green River Lake near Campbellsville such as Fishing,Boating and Camping. Saturday Night is Stock Car Racing at the Fair ground if you like that as I do. The Chamber Visitors Center is located on the North West Cornor of Broadway [Hiway68] and Central [Hiway 70]. They have all the info for what is going on around that part of the country plus you can get maps and brochures of events at the time of year of your visit. I love kentucky but I love Arizona more so I have to be content with Visits. My family has been in that area since 1782 and have left their mark in many ways and the present Representatives of my Family are doing the same as our Anscetors did. Have a good time and enjoy your visit. JC
