I knew a tractor puller that put a cat motor in a Ford 1 ton truck. The truck was a 1976. The motor was a 3108(?). He used a shoe horn to get it in. Moving the steering gear box was the hardest part. He used this truck to pull a trailer with two tractors. The only problem he had was going up a hill. He told me that he had to ease off while going uphill. If he put his foot into it, the clutch would slip. He tride to get a heaver cluth, but could not find one strong enough. Bill
