I watched several farmers around here try the GM diesel through the years. They all went back to Ford asap. Some of them tried Dodge Cummins and could'nt keep trannies in them. They got the trannies worked out and the body falls apart after a couple of years and then the electrical system. I think I'll try a Dodge Cummins next year or if Ford gets the Cummins I'll try it. I like the ride and stability of a Ford F350 dually. I only get about 12-14 mpg with mine. but with all the junk I carry in the bed not counting the trailer I weigh about 13,700 without the trailer.
