I had a delivery in IL today and heard on one of the Chicago stations about how displeased everyone seems to be with your Governor.
Mitch would make a great president, but I doubt if he'll every run. Or if he did, he probably couldn't win, he's too short.
He came from a business background at Eli Lilly, (Big Pharmacutical), worked in the Regan administration too. Very soft-spoken, very very smart. I worked at a place years ago where he used to come in for Sunday brunch every week with his wife and 4 daughters. Very unassuming, you'd never know what a VIP he was back then.
It's too bad politics is such a TV/visual thing now. I doubt old Abe Lincoln could get elected today.
