When I was a teenager in the late 60s - I'd drink just about anything in mass quantities. That was especially true at 3 in the morning. That being said - one time me and a bunch of drunken friends drove to some dump in New York City at 4 in the morning and bought a case of "Ruppert Knickerbocker" beer at 79 cents per 6-pack. It was so bad - that even we could not drink it - and I didn't think that was possible.
My all-time favorite is Genesee 12 Horse Ale- might be a local New York product.
It's all moot anyway - I quick drinking 10 years ago.
