Spent time in the 80's putting on informational meetings after bank closings,(no, I am not or have I ever been employed by the FDIC) The following most likely applies if they haven't changed. 1. 100,000 or less, no loans, stay home, FDIC your friend. 2. 100,000 or less, well collatoralized loans that can be sold to another lender,FDIC your friend. 3. 100,000 or less, loans poorly collatoralized that can't be sold, your loans will most likely now be called for payment,FDIC not likely sympathetic. You are now the one needing help, they will most likely hold on to your deposits to cover the other depositors. Remember the FDIC is an insurance co. it is not a true Govt. agency, it collects it assets like insurance premiums from the banking industry. Also remember the FDIC just doesn't decide to close a bank on Friday at noon, they have most likely been advising this bank for months and they have not been able to right themselves. All loans were evaluated before the bank was closed. Good Luck to those with marginal or near marginal loans.

The answer to our needs materialized in the form of a '44 Farmall A, complete with cultivators, discs, single plow, a 5ft.Woods belly mower and one, mounted spare 9.00x24 rear wheel.
