I've plowed snow for many years in the 70's, 80's,with a Ford 250 with a hydraulic angled plow. With a load of sand in the back it would go through deep snow, never used chains, but that combination should really move it.Can't imagine why anyone would plow snow on an open tractor! The best rig I've seen for tractor snow removal is a snowblower.Friend of mine clears a 1/2 mile gravel road with steep hills and turns with a 60" blower on a 27 hp 4wd Kubota, with rear chains.2 passes on old built up snow and he's done with no berm to get in the way. The only way to fly!
