I IMAGINE THAT YOU ARE ASKING ABOUT TRACTOR SHUTTERS.MY JD R HAS SHUTTERS IN FRONT OF THE RADIATOR TO HELP BRING THE WATER TEMP. UP TO OPERATING LEVEL I DONT REMEMBER FOR SURE BUT I DONT THINK IT HAS A THERMSTAT SO IN ORDER TO GET IT UP TO 180 OR SO ON A COLD DAY I CLOSE THEM TO CUT OFF THE AIR SUPPLY TO THE RADIATOR
