Breaker bar is fine for a hand start type engine. Air compressor can help get fluids like tranny fluid in deeper/better. But the best way I have found and I have been doing this for years is the starter. There made for high torque but not so much as to brake things but you do have to be careful and use short fast taps on the starter button so as to not burn up the starter. A starter will put out 10 times what you can in a way that will do more but still not hurt engine parts.
