Here in Iowa a few years ago if you rent a house you must have in the contract--do you use drugs? Otherwise the government can own your rental house---seems far fetched to me, but was on the news probably 4-5 years ago. It resembles the bank going broke, and depositers not getting all their money back ...but....If you owe that bank money you must pay it back.
If a auto dealership closes it's doors and your car is in there for repairs---you don't get to drive off till the judge releases it three months later. Same goes for your grain if you store it at a grain elevator---that ain't your corn unless the judge says so. That last one may have been corrected the last few years maybe.
Also like a judge told the United Airway employes---you only get 1/2 of your retirement fund--cause I said so. I wonder if that judge walks down dark streets nowdays.
