At about 60,000 km, I had to replace the alternator, and at 180,000 km, the exhaust pipe from the turbo (GM only source $$$$) rotted out. Other than changing to a K&N Supercharger air filter, no money has been spent on the motor. Oil gets changed every 5000 km (always the same brand oil), and fuel filter gets changed twice a year. I allow warm-up and cool-down time. I am very happy with this truck and plan to keep it for another 100000km or so.
