I have had 3 chevy 6.2's, and I enjoyed them all.The first one I sold with 190,000 on it, the second I sold with 175,000 Each was driven away buy it's new owner. My one ton is parked for the winter with 160,000 plus on it. The trouble I have had with each one is starters. I have a spare starter and once a year in october they are switched and rebuilt. Each truck had the injection pump redone at 100,000 (4-600$) What I have seen is that people who run diesel tractors or trucks have been happy with there chevys. The ones who can't tell the difference except that one takes a different fuel have not been happy. And they generaly abuse them to an early death. That said, I bought a cummins last spring and will buy another one this spring. The 6.2 worked well for me, but the I-6 makes more sence. Mike
