THANK YOU FOR YOUR EFFORTS!!!!!! You came up with more filter makers than I and came up with the same ending I did. Obviously though, you are better informed than I on the subject. Taking your advice, I bit the bullet & paid the $62 for the filter. The only thing that made me feel any better was the dealer had 15 of them on the shelf collecting dust. Albeit it is really NOT the dealers fault the tractor company makes proprietary parts..... & I should have just been grateful the dealer had the filter...
