I was in Calgary last week. Really nice city with good friendly people. If you have time, drive west over to Banff and Banff National Park. Lake Louise is probably the prettiest lake I have ever seen. Lake Moraine is nearby and beautiful too. And then, if you still have some time for scenery, head north to the Columbia Icefield.(Carry a coat.)If you have $38 to spare, get on one of the buses that will take you out onto the ice. Spectacular! I really enjoyed looking at the farming that was going on around Calgary, mostly canola(rape),cattle,windmill generators, and hay. I didn"t visit any museums or tractor shows. Good place to visit with outstanding people. If you get lost, just ask and they will lead you to where you want to go.
