Hello, I was told you folks might be able to help me with when and where my tractor was made. Whatever you can tell me would be appreciated. It is a Massey Harris Ferguson with the serial number of SGM172401. There is a tag on the motor but I can"t read it but on the block the number is Z134A500P and on the transmission the number is MHF182-840-M1. The man I bought it off of said he thought it was a 1956 but I think it is a 1957. Any information you can provide would be helpful. Also I found on another website that starting with the serial #171741 the plates show Massey-Ferguson. I was wondering about that too. Thank You paul4bass@yahoo.com
