Don't you remember a while back seeing Arnold Palmer the golfer advertising for "Penzoil" on TV, he was riding and talking about HIS old Toro that he used as a boy on the golf course-----that should tell you how old it must be. I would buy it and restore it and sit back and watch it go up in value---I'll bet theres not many of those left around anymore I'll bet you could find out some history on it too. Jim in N M

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
