Masingil and vinegar...like a douche. A lady told me about that after her dog got skunked, and I haven't found better. That tomato juice or paste stuff don't get it...been there, done that, don't get it. The first time my lab got it was point blank and so badly concentrated, took a couple of days just to get to normal skunk after using tomato based products. Thats when that lady told me about Masingil and vinegar...like a douche. Sure I felt stupid going to the drug store and buying it, but I tried it, vast improvement. Give it a shot.
Watch your dog's eyes. Seems to me that when dogs get it in the face by skunks, especially the eyes, does something to the tears ducts and their eyes will seep or water for the rest of their lives (the eye or eyes hit). That happened to my lab whom got it point blank in the left side of his face...left eye mattered and watered for years, and it happened to the neighbor's dog as well.
