Don"t do it. I been down a similar path trying to crimp Parker fittings with a Weatherhead crimper. They all blew off at the worst possible moment (hydraulic dump lift over a truck), this was after I had checked the final crimp diameter and all were ok. I"m lucky that someone didn"t get hurt. My thought are that you are setting yourself up for a losing a lawsuit if you do not use the proper crimper/fittings for the hose.
