Ever wonder about the number of government buildings with leases not re-newed in Ontario and the new leases/buildings on the Hull side of the river? Ever wonder how quebec is a "have" province yet they are the only "have" province that receives more from the Federal coffers than what they contribute? Ever wonder who pushed mandatory french services across the country when only parts of quebec, a small portion of New Brunswick and a few north eastern Ontario villages speak french? As for votes, that doesn"t affect the majority of Federal civil servants who are from Quebec. They are the people who are always there running the country no matter who is the ruling party. Quebec has had a Prime Minister with a majority from quebec since the 1960"s. A minority prime minister from the west has to pander to quebec or face a non confidence vote. Quebec has had Canada "by the short and curlies"since before confederation. And in particular for the past four decades.
