Send rain to North Carolina !!!!! Severe to extreme drought rating over much of the state. South Carolina also. Last decent rain was May 8th. Only very light sprinkles since then . Crops suffering badly or never sprouted. Some land never even planted. Pastures gone , most are feeding hay. Big increase in cattle numbers at livestock market last week. After disastrous drought last year, another one could force me out or to downsize my dairy operation and my wife to seek off farm employment.I've never seen it so dry in May and June in my lifetime.
