Depends on who you ask and what your intended uses are............ Before purchasing something used go visit the various local dealers and look at the bare bones entry level tractors. You will be surprised to find they price out with warrenty, no previous abuse, no worn out parts, no corrosion, no obsolete parts, no "farmer fixes". New costs very close to a used tractor then repairing/maintaining the used unit. May as well have something with a modern 12V electrical system with an alternator, live pto, power steering, remote hydraulics, high volume/high pressure hydraulics, differential lock, a real drawbar, hydrostaic transmission, brakes that work, a rops/seat belt, M4WD, decent lights, diesel engine etc.
