Rick, My Massey 2135 was having the same trouble and my rear tires are calcium filled. Wheel weights wouldn't have helped much but this little addition did.
I added stay chains (not shown) from the lower lift pins, to the upper link, to both stabalize the load (keep it from swinging) and to hold the load off the hydraulics.
It's about 2/3 of a 55 gal drum filled with cement and weighs about 750#. You could figure how big of a weight you need and chop your barrel accordingly. Since the counterweight hangs at the end of the 3 pt., it is way more effective than wheel weights and cheaper too. I have less than $30 in mine.
