These are unusual times--banks and loan outfits are worried, and they"ve tightened up... If you"ll need a loan, make sure it"ll be there first; don"t assume that since you"ve gotten financing whenever you needed it before that it"s still there. If you do any seasonal financing, make sure any loan you take out now won"t make it more difficult to get your usual financing, and listen carefully to what your lender says--if they know further tightening is coming, they probably can"t say so in so many words, but they may try to give you a heads-up in the language they use.
