If you have the wood for the cutting then wood is the way to go. After all wood warms you twice once to cut and once to burn it. I have one of those outside free standing wood furnaces with the water lines to the house love it heats the whole house. There are multipule ways to go; hot water baseboard, forced air, and floor heat with lines under the floor. Their easy to install just run a line out to the box and connect wires dig a trench for the water lines and fill with water till it over flows and build fire. AAAAHHHH
