For the past few years we have been planting this 15 acre patch in 40 inch rows so we can harvest it with the corn pickers, put it in the crib and then shell it out. With all the wet weather this spring we just finally got it planted today. We wont harvest it until all of the other farm work is done and it doesnt shell in the pickers as bad if it is a little wetter. We moldboard plowed it last sunday. Disked it a few times and ran over it with a cultimulcher on friday. Also have some pics of putting in some oats for a neighbor. Better late than never right? bill
