They want control of as much oil in the ground as they can get. Then they can jack the price up as much as they want, claim shortage, whatever. Its all about control, not really oil. They already found a bunch of oil this year.Billions of barrels had been found before this began, plus I hear that they have been capping wells in the United States since the 70s,claiming they didnt find any oil when they really did.It wouldnt surprise me if oil companies were the money behind the tree huggers. They probably pay them to gripe about something, then they have some excuse for not doing anything.Like the old cartoon about the sheep dog and the wolf, they act like they dont get along but actally are friends after the days sheepherding is done and its turned over to the next shift of sheep dog and wolf. This is before you even get to the story that Russia threw their instructions about where to drill for oil in the trash can and found 2 times more oil when they drilled in places Americans said wouldnt have any oil. That has Russia passing Saudi Arabia as the country with the most oil in the world now.Not even mentioning that they found lots of oil in North,South Dakota,Montana, off the coast of New Orleans, and the East coast. It doesnt seem to be a shortage of oil in the ground, its a shortage of oil being refined.Possibly a deal where they are playing both sides against the middle, and rigging the stock market as well. Why drill/refine oil if you are a thief when you can steal so much more with the stock market?
