Good for him, and I hope he make a career out of it and gets to retire at a young age of 38. There is no other job out there that gives you 30 days paid vacation starting on your first day. I have been with this company I am at now for 12 years and just now get 21 days paid vacation. I was in the Army, and still wish I was. Life was so easy in the military and there was lots of traveling opportunities. If he ever gets discourage, let him know its worse being a civilian. Have a good day.
