My brother work on tractors locally and some of the things that people do to these machines.420 JD crawler, went through right turning brake replaced band and clutches, bearing had been placed backwards, was shimmed about .080 or .090 put it back right took out most of the shimms. Valve train was not getting oil, stud with oil hole had been swapped, engine bored .100 had .090 piston and rings. Farmall cub, someone had welded the brake drum to the axle instead of fixing the screw that held it. Another cub someone had taken the time to remove the axle housing removed the brake drum and left it out altogether.Wiring nightmares, holes cut into hoods for glass pack mufflers,alternators or access to other parts.
